9-11-2013: Critique Me

This is a photo I took of my cousin the last time we were in Indiana. Wwe had just gotten out of a funeral and there was grafitti on the walls of the building next to the church, so it was coincidental that the colors go together so well. I edited it in Photoshop so the colors are more vibrant. If I could redo this picture, I would have made it a little more straight, and possibly at a different angle.

I chose this photo because it looks really nice. I was at Rock Run with a friend of mine and I found a giant Praying Mantis. There was another one, but it wasn't as interesting. The photo was taken with my 55-200mm lens, so it was easier to get a close up photo.

9-2-2013: What Don't I Like About This Class?

I really dislike the fact that some students freely call each other fags or faggots. They also use "gay" as a derogatory term. It's extremely offensive but no one seems to take notice of it. There is an "LGBT safe zone" sign hung in the computer lab, yet this behavior is not LGBT safe.
